The St. Petersburg City Court recognized the Russian LGBT Network as an “extremist organization” and banned its activities in Russia. We do not agree with this decision and will appeal it.
The court actually called “extremism” helping the LGBTQ community, recording cases of discrimination, protecting rights and, in principle, talking about what is happening to queer people in Russia.
This is another attempt to intimidate people, deprive them of their support and silence them. We can be banned on paper, but our work cannot be erased. We remain with you.
